not activeDec 20, 1999other sectionmiscellaneous violationsthe following violations of chapter 41 of the s.f. administrative code known as the residential hotel unit conversion and demolition ordinance (hereafter refered to as the hco) were found as a result of an on-site inspection of the coronado hotel at 373 ellis street on december 10, 1999 by inspector sergio salvetti, and an examination of the hco records at the offices of the department of building inspection on december 16, 1999 by inspector rosemary bosque. the following violations are to be corrected immediately: 1. the weekly reports were not posted, nor available for inspection at the hotel premises during the on-site inspection on december 10, 1999 and were not maintained in violation of sections 41.9(b) and 41.11(c) of the hco. 2. the daily logs were not available for inspection at the hotel premises during the on-site inspection on december 10, 1999 and were not properly maintained to contain the requisite information on a daily basis; (a) whether all guest rooms were being used for residential use, tourist use or vacant, and (b) the name of all registered occupants, in violation of sections 41.9(a) and 41.11(c) of the hco. 3. the rent receipts were not available at the on-site inspection on december 10, 1999 and were not maintained for all transactions in violation of sections 41.9(a) and 41.11(c) of the hco. the hotel operator was instructed at the time of the examination of the hco records on december 16, 1999 to cease immediately any and all violations referenced above and was further instructed to produce daily logs, weekly reports, and corresponding receipts on january 25, 2000 to inspector bosque for review for the period from december 17, 1999 to january 24, 2000. the hotel operator was informed at the time of this examination that the notice of apparent violation posted on december 10, 1999 remains in full force and effect until further review of the hotel's hco records.
